Anne and I were driving around in the Nashville sunshine but we couldn’t find her YOUNG AMERICANS disc so we listened to TAKING TIGER MOUNTAIN instead. Since Bowie’s death we’ve been listening to lots of Bowie and watched a cool documentary a few weeks ago. That same night we found a couple of documentaries about Brian Eno that I bookmarked to share here later. Another Green World is a 2010 episode from ARENA on BBC 4. The ARENA stuff is consistently great and this profile of the avant garde musical pioneer doesn’t disappoint. Bowie was a generous collaborator -unless you’re Coldplay- and it’s tough to talk about his art without including Angie, and Lou, and Iggy, and Tony Visconti, and Brian Eno.
